Can money buy happiness?

People think that money will always bring them good fortune, but they´re wrong, wrong because you change your personality and you start treating people who doesn’t have also a lot money like they were less that humans, even you think yourself better than them because you can buy things they never will, and when you realize how much your treat towards other people has changed, it is too late since that people will hate you, or they will never want to see you again in their lives.

Money doesn’t buy happiness because it makes rather than give you freedom, turns you into a slave because you will be miserable when you lack of it. Also, there is people in the world that is happy even though they don´t have a lot of money since they are able to enjoy the simple life; additionally, people that doesn’t have much money enjoy greatly when they earn something what does not happen with rich people since they get all they want, so they really don’t know how good feels to achieve something. To conclude, I rather be poor but capable of enjoying the little things than being rich but shallow and a bad son and friend.

I've always felt that the money is not the happiness of a person; money does not make a person happy. It may be in some material aspects but the material things are not very important to the happiness of life. Having plenty of material things, a brand new car, the new iPod to hit the market, and so on doesn’t give happiness. You can make a person happy, all bought with money. But, are all these things real happiness? From my point of view, it may be, but you can have a lot of material things like a millionaire, but if a person does not have the love of a family, no friends, or someone who really cares, regardless of money, he won’t feel happy.

Money cannot buy feelings and raise a family, which I think is very important and nice to have with or without a lot of money. A close family that provides love is happiness for your entire life, apart from money. Money can give a plus to being happy with aspects of entertainment or distractions which obviously you have to pay, but love and family unity cannot be purchased with money. Some of my friends care about material things and it is clear how they would prefer to have a lot of money to buy whatever they wanted; they all think that material things are more important. Sometimes I wonder if they would keep buying instead of having friends and a family, things that money cannot buy. Even helping others in need is a way to make good use of the money so you can bring happiness to others around you.
